Learning Partners enters the global market place
As of 2008 Learning Partners will be partnering with a private Vietnamese training company BEST, to deliver diploma level qualifications. Negotiations have been intensive, with the Learning Partners Directors and Marketing Manager travelling to Vietnam to work with Mr Tuan Le (the Managing Director) to formalise a contract which is the beginning of a positive relationship between the two companies.
Training and Assessment across industries
Learning Partners will be commencing a Training and Assessment (TAA) program for people wishing to either up-grade their current Assessment and Workplace Training (AWT) qualification or are seeking entry into the industry.
Participants are being offered a blended learning approach that will include workshops, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), self-paced learning materials, and coaching and mentoring. Participants will be from across industries, and to date include Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO), the Launceston City Council, the Real Estate Industry, and a machine operation’s licensing and certification enterprise (Rex McCarthy Enterprises). This should promote interesting interaction as the diversity of perspectives and approaches to training in the various industries, and the different sizes of the organisations represented should engage participants to reflect on the transferability of skills required to be able to enter contexts and environments different from their current work practises.
